Well – before I start talking about single games just a few words about how I get my games.
Since the area I’m living in is quite a nice one (just outside Cambridge) there ain’t any game-dealers hanging around in front of the local Tesco. Means I would need to drive into Cambridge if I wanted to buy anything. On the weekend that’s quite a good idea: Taking the girlfriend out for lunch or dinner and using the chance to buy a new game. Though – during week-evenings the idea would cause me some hours of being stuck in traffic and gaining some really bad karma. The result of this is that I quite often buy my games online.
Since I like NOT having a box laying around and NOT having a chance to loose or brake a disc I prefer shops where I can download the game. The latest games I bought via STEAM which now offers quite a nice varity of different (also older) games. Saying this is not supposed to be advertisment but it might explain why I may talk about downloads, demos, videos and metascores. It may also explain why a got certain indie- or casual games while I ignore others that may just be as good as the ones I talk about…
